WoW's November event was our chance to get gussied up in our favourite Little Black Dresses, and put into practice last month's lessons in making a great first impression. And make a great impression we certainly did.

WoW Members went MAD for our Tea Party!

Our April event didn't just get a big thumbs up from our WoW Members and special guests. We got delicate little pinky fingers up, toasting each other to a tea party gone MAD! Why a Tea Party, you might ask? WoW is all about uncovering the latest trends in all things "wedding". Tea parties seem to be all the rage- for receptions, engagement parties, and bridal showers. The tea party as a theme is part traditional, part formal, and wonderfully whimsical. Perhaps we have been inspired by the recent spectacle of Will and Kate's celebrated nuptials, or perhaps it is our impassioned nostalgia for the stylized rituals as seen on Downton Abbey. Or maybe it is just an excuse to don an elaborate fascinator.

WoW aimed for the Heart at our First Event

After much anticipation, (plus loads of preparation, emails, phone calls, tweets and posts!) WoW was so thrilled to finally launch our first event. It was definitely reminiscent of planning a wedding, according to the Showcase Sponsorship team! Our inaugural WoW gathering of almost 100 of the best wedding businesses in Victoria took place on Tuesday, February 12th in the light-filled Terrace Ballroom at the Inn at Laurel Point. Appropriately, our event fell just before Valentine's Day. We’d like to think we acted as cupids, bringing together the most talented bridal businesses in our city.
